Meet Owadasa Olanrewaju Ezekiel, (aka Owas) a talented fashion designer from Nigeria who has been creating stunning pieces for the past five years. Lanre was born in the early 80’S from Uso-Owo Ondo State Nigeria. He studied Marketing at Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Owo Ondo State Nigeria. Lanre is also married to Adeola Owadasa née Ikumawoyi she is the manager of (Owas Impressive Outfit). They got married in September 2017 and their union is blessed with two kids Iremide and Erimide.
While undergoing his mandatory national youth service in Jos Plateau state, he meant some tailors in the town and learnt how to sew from them. After his service year He started sewing for himself and relatives who were his first clients. His love for fashion and his unique sense of style soon caught the attention of others, and he began receiving requests for his designs from people outside his immediate circle. In 2018 Lanre decided to pursue his passion for fashion full-time, and he established his own fashion brand, “Owas impressive outfit.” Lanre’s designs are inspired by the vibrant colors and patterns of traditional Nigerian fabrics, which he incorporates into modern, contemporary designs. His signature style is bold and daring, featuring asymmetrical cuts and unexpected combinations of fabrics.
Over the past five years, Lanre has honed his craft, expanding his brand to include a wide range of men’s clothing, from native wears to casual wears. He has showcased his designs at numerous fashion shows across Nigeria, and his work has been featured in several local and international publications.
